Phosphate in small amounts is an important nutrient for all organisms. But concentrations as low as 0.035 mg/L lead to algae growth. In order to prevent algae blooms, the phosphates dissolved in the water must be bound.
Turbo Phosphate Binder was developed for the rapid breakdown of extremely high nutrient concentrations. It reduces algae-promoting phosphates in the pond water to a healthy level and thus effectively prevents algae infestation. 1 kg binds 24 g of phosphate – extra quickly!
Turbo Phosphate Binder works on the basis of an ion exchanger that prevents the phosphates from redissolving into the water. Thanks to the ready-to-use mesh bag, application is incredibly easy.
Turbo Phosphate Binder is free of toxic aluminum salts, pH-neutral and does not cloud the water. Ideal for sturgeon populations.
Our application and dosage recommendation
Place the ready-to-use mesh bag in the pond, stream or filter. The baskets in the TITAN filters from Söll are ideal for this. Turbo Phosphate Binder can be used all year round.
Depending on the phosphate content of the water, the binding capacity is exhausted after 1 to 4 weeks. Turbo Phosphate Binder should then be renewed.
