PhosLock® is applied after every algae treatment. It should be replenished every 6 weeks year-round by scattering it across the surface of the pond. It is important that the product is not dissolved or mixed beforehand. Filter systems can remain in operation during application. If the pH value is greater than 8.8, the water should be pre-treated with TeichFit®. When used correctly, no negative effects on fish, plants, and amphibians are to be expected. Fish can remain in the pond during application. For an effective result, 50 g of PhosLock® per 1,000 liters of pond water is required. If the phosphate content exceeds 1.0 mg/l, the dose should be increased to 75 g per 1,000 liters of pond water.

The active ingredient in PhosLock is the strongest phosphate binder in the world.
It reduces the phosphate content to a level below 0.035 mg/l.
PhosLock prevents the re-release of nutrients from the pond sludge by binding the phosphate in a water-insoluble mineral.
PhosLock is based on a mineral formula and is free of heavy metals.
If algae blooms are already visible, Algosol or FadenalgenVernichter should be used in addition.
Our application and dosage recommendation
Use after every algae treatment. Redose every 6 weeks year-round. Sprinkle over the entire surface of the pond. Never dissolve or mix beforehand! Filtration systems can remain in operation while adding the product. If the pH value is higher than 8.8, pre-treat the water with TeichFit®. When used properly, no side effects on fish, plants, or amphibians are known.
Fish may remain in the pond during treatment.
50 g PhosLock per 1,000 liters of pond water. For a phosphate content of more than 1.0 mg/l, use 75g per 1,000 liters of pond water.
For extremely high phosphate concentrations, we recommend using Turbo PhosphatBinder.
