The OASE AquaMax Eco Twin 30000 is a filter and waterfall pump with two independently controllable motors. It delivers up to 27,000 l/h and provides a maximum head height of 5.2 m. Using the remote control, you can switch the motors on or off and adjust their output. The pump operates submerged in the pond.
Is the Twin right for your pond?
The crucial factor is not the maximum flow rate, but rather the actual flow remaining at your specific head height. The height is measured from the water surface to the inlet of the filter or waterfall. Hoses and elbows cost additional performance. The OASE performance curve shows the Twin 30000 and the smaller Twin 20000:

The values at 1 m and 2 m were read from the OASE performance curve and rounded; both motors run at full power for these readings. Our advice for koi ponds: The pump should circulate the entire pond volume through the filter once every one to two hours, based on your actual head height.
How the AquaMax Eco Twin works
- Two motors: Use the radio remote control to switch the motors on or off individually or adjust them together. A digital display shows the performance level.
- Intelligent flap: If only one motor is running, a patented flap mechanism inside ensures that its flow rate is fully utilized.
- Multiple intake points: The intakes can be switched individually, for example: pond floor and satellite filter, pond floor and skimmer, or only the pond floor.
- Economical: According to OASE, the Twin 30000 consumes up to 46% less energy than its predecessor, the Promax 30000.
- Dry-run protection: The OASE Environmental Function Control protects the pump in the event of a blockage or dry running.
- Frost-proof: Patented frost protection down to −20 °C.
- Dirt is no problem: Plant debris and fish waste up to 11 mm are delivered directly to the filter.
- Controllable via app: With an OASE control device, you can also operate the Twin via the OASE Control App.
Suitable for UVC and filters
Many UVC clarifiers require a minimum flow rate. The Bitron Eco, for example, requires at least 10,000 l/h, which the Twin 30000 can easily manage even at a head height of 2 m. With the satellite filter, it can also draw water from a second point on the pond floor.

Why is it called 30000 if it only delivers 27,000 l/h?
The number in the name is the model designation. According to the OASE data sheet, the maximum flow rate is 27,000 l/h.
Can the Twin be installed dry?
No. The Twin only works when submerged. According to OASE, it can also operate in an external pump chamber, provided it is submerged under water there.
Why two motors?
You can ramp the performance up or down as needed and switch additional devices like skimmers or satellite filters independently. Running only one motor saves electricity.
How long is the warranty?
OASE grants a 3-year warranty. If you register the pump after purchase via the OASE product registration, it extends by 2 years to a total of 5 years. This requires purchasing from an authorized OASE dealer such as Koi-Area. The conditions are stated in the OASE warranty terms. Your statutory warranty rights against Koi-Area remain unaffected.
