BSO removes sludge quickly and effectively! The heterotrophic bacteria in BSO naturally break down organic matter, such as silt on the pond floor , in the filter, and the layer of dust that collects on underwater plants . Of course, BSO cannot remove an inch-thick layer of organic waste at the bottom of your pond, but it should never come to that.

Regular use will prevent build up and keep your pond healthy . Additionally, studies have shown that heterotrophic bacteria play an important role in maintaining the biofilm in your filter , so BSO is useful here too.

BSO is available in 1 and 2½ liter bottles.
1 liter of the product is enough for 10,000 liters of water.
