Pond salt is a rock salt with a grain size of 3.2–1.5 mm and, depending on the product version, is suitable for use in koi, garden, and ornamental fish ponds. The grain size of approx. 1.5 to 3.2 mm supports even dissolution in water. 

For even distribution, the salt should be dissolved in water beforehand and slowly added to the pond. Application and dosage should always be tailored to the pond volume, fish stock, and water quality parameters. Additionally, it can be used practically in the pond to specifically increase the salt content of the pond water.
