First, dissolve the pond mineral in a little pond water while stirring, and then distribute it evenly over the water surface. A brief clouding of the water indicates the product is working. The water will clear within 4 to 24 hours, depending on filter performance, temperature, and water contamination, and in isolated cases, up to 78 hours. For heavily contaminated ponds, repeated application at shorter intervals may be useful to achieve a faster improvement in water quality.
