Tetra Pond PhosphateMinus reliably and naturally removes excess phosphate (PO4) from garden pond water. Phosphate is an important plant nutrient that continuously accumulates in the garden pond through fish food and plant debris, for example. However, an excessively high PO4 level also promotes algae growth. Tetra Pond PhosphateMinus is ideal for use in preparation for winter after the final feed. Phosphate levels should also be checked and adjusted at the start of the new pond season in spring and before the first feed.
