Für die besten Ergebnisse sollte Algosol® forte vormittags angewendet werden. Die Dosis sollte mit mindestens der 20-fachen Menge an Teichwasser verdünnt werden, beispielsweise in einer Gartengießkanne, und anschließend gleichmäßig in den Teich verteilt werden. Dabei ist es wichtig, den Kontakt des unverdünnten Produkts mit Wasserpflanzen zu vermeiden. Während der Behandlung können Fische im Teich bleiben. Für die Dosierung empfiehlt sich eine Menge von 50 ml Algosol® forte auf 1.000 Liter Teichwasser. Wenn nach 2-3 Wochen noch ein stärkerer Algenbefall besteht, sollte die gleiche Menge nachdosiert werden, um den Wirkungsgrad zu erhöhen. Bei Blaualgenbefall wird empfohlen, stattdessen das Produkt Algosol zu verwenden.
