END THREAD ALGAE

Thread Algae Destroyer destroys even the most stubborn thread algae within 24 hours through the immediate release of active oxygen. Shortly after application, the dead algae can be skimmed off. Remaining algae residues are broken down more quickly by the special bacteria contained. Thread Algae Destroyer is colorless and highly effective. The active ingredient is broken down into water and oxygen within a few hours.

Our application and dosage recommendation

Thread Algae Destroyer should be sprinkled specifically onto the thread algae in the morning. Avoid contact with aquatic plants. Avoid strong water movement during product application – if necessary, switch off the filter or pump briefly. The application can be repeated several times per season. Ideally, check water values before and during treatment (e.g., with pH-Test, KH-Test from Söll). Only use if the pH value is < 8.5 and the carbonate hardness (KH) is > 5°dH (0.890 mmol/l HCO3-). To stabilize these values, we recommend TeichFit, TeichStarter or Premium KoiStabil. When used properly, no side effects on animals or plants living in the water are known. Fish can remain in the pond during treatment.

30–50 g Thread Algae Destroyer per 1,000 liters of pond water

After algae treatment, phosphate-reducing agents (e.g., PhosLock , ZeoSpeed or Turbo PhosphatBinder ) should be used.

If your pond has floating or blue-green algae in addition to thread algae, use Algosol or Algosol forte.

Use algicides with caution. Always read the label and product information before use.
