PondStarter immediately processes tap, rain and well water into biotope-friendly pond water.

PondStarter removes harmful heavy metal compounds particularly well and increases or stabilizes the real carbonate hardness and the pH value.

PondStarter prepares acidic, soft water with an unstable pH value as well as water with too little carbonate hardness so that it offers the pond inhabitants optimal living conditions. The fish's sensitive mucous membranes are naturally protected. The bacteria that are important for starting the pond are promoted.

Water that contains chlorine and is contaminated with metal (e.g. tap water from copper pipes or rainwater contaminated with air pollutants) is also passed through PondStarter detoxified and thus optimally prepared for use in the pond.

PondStarter is completely harmless to humans and animals in the water. Also good to know: PondStarter Reduces corrosion of pumps and pipes.

Our application and dosage recommendation

After heavy rain. When refilling or refilling the pond with tap/rain/well water. Sprinkle evenly into the pond. Never dissolve or mix beforehand! Filter systems can remain in operation during product input.

100 g PondStarter to 1,000 liters of pond water. Rainwater, cistern water and well water often have very low pH values. A double dosage is recommended here. PondStarter cannot be overdosed.

special instructions

a) Limitation of effect

If there is a permanent source of acid or alkali in the pond, it will be used up PondStarter faster because it constantly has to do neutralization work. After complete consumption of PondStarter the pH value is no longer stable. Certain types of concrete or cement that are sometimes used for pond construction can release lye into the pond water over a long period of time, causing the pH to rise sharply.

Water changes may be used beforehand PondStarter partially or completely removed with the water from the pond and can therefore no longer be effective. A new dosage is then recommended.

b) Interaction with other products

We recommend using PondStarter one day before using algae remedies (e.g Algosol , Algosol forte , thread algae destroyer ). The other products in the Söll pond care program are available at any time PondStarter applicable.

Occurs after application of PondStarter If the water becomes cloudy or brown for a long time, this is probably due to the previous use of peat, humic substances and other pond treatment products. In most cases, the clouding or coloring that occurs can be eliminated by using OxygenActive be eliminated.
