On days 1, 3, and 5, dose 15 ml of FMC per 1,000 liters of pond water each time. Then, on day 7, change 20% of the pond water. According to the manufacturer, 1 liter is sufficient for a complete treatment of approximately 20 m³ of pond water.

Switch off the UV-C lamp and ozone system during treatment. If possible, do not run the treatment through the biological filter; if the filter is switched off or circulating internally, the pond and filter must be well aerated. Do not feed during treatment. Wear gloves and do not use in enclosed spaces. Do not use on goldfish, sturgeons, or orfe/id, and do not use below 10 °C.

FMC is a liquid treatment for koi and suitable ornamental fish for white spot disease, Costia, and Chilodonella. According to the manufacturer, the active ingredient combination consists of 40% formaldehyde and 4 g of malachite green per liter. The treatment is carried out on days 1, 3, and 5 with 15 ml per 1,000 liters of pond water each time. During the treatment, UV-C and ozone must be switched off and good aeration must be ensured. On the 7th day, 20% of the pond water is changed. FMC is available in 0.5 and 1 liter bottles and, according to the manufacturer, must not be used below 10 °C.
