Instructions for determining carbonate hardness

1. Fill a test tube with pond water.

2. Close from above with your finger and shake vigorously. The best way to determine the respective color is to look directly into the tube opening and compare it with the color values ​​printed on the card.

Possibilities

The water turns blue.
The carbonate hardness is sufficiently high (KH is greater than 5 °dH).

The water turns yellow.
The carbonate hardness is too low. PondFit or. AquaStab achieve a carbonate hardness of over 5 °dH in a very short time. With the second test tube you can check the KH value after using PondFit or. AquaStab check.
