AGAINST THE SPRING BLOOM

When the garden pond comes to life in spring, algae often forms. Thanks to increased sunlight, they now have particularly good living conditions. Too many algae can seriously disrupt the biological balance in the pond and should therefore be reduced to a healthy level right at the start of the pond season.

SpringAlgaeStop was specially developed for the beginning algae problems in spring. The intelligent light filter SpectroSorp lowers the light output of the algae, which prevents their photosynthesis activity. As a result, for example, floating algae, which usually appear as green water, and cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) gradually die off.

Our application and dosage recommendation

For optimal results, use in the morning. Dilute the dose with at least 20 times the amount of pond water (e.g. in a garden watering can) and pour evenly into the pond. Avoid contact of the undiluted product with aquatic plants. When used properly, there are no known side effects on fish, plants and amphibians. Fish can remain in the pond during treatment.

For best results, if necessary, check the pH value before use PondFit set in the optimal range. The pH rapid test from Söll is suitable for checking.

50ml SpringAlgaeStop to 1,000 liters of pond water. Add the same amount after 2 to 3 weeks to increase effectiveness and combat germinating permanent forms.

In case of blue-green algae infestation: 10 ml of SpringAlgaeStop on 5 consecutive days to 1,000 liters of pond water.

At the recommended dosage of 50 ml SpringAlgaeStop There is an average of 175 µg of copper sulfate in every liter of pond water per 1,000 liters.
