The PVC transition socket nipple with male thread allows for a secure transition between PVC pipe systems and threaded connections. The adhesive connection is firmly integrated into the PVC pipe system, while the male thread enables the attachment of suitable fittings or other components. The robust PVC design is rated for pressure-bearing applications up to PN 16. Due to the various connection sizes, the fitting can be flexibly integrated into existing pipe systems. Note on sizing:


The first measurement refers to the inside of the glue socket, the second to the outside of the glue spigot. The inch measurement denotes the male thread (MPT).
Example: 90/110 mm x 3" MPT = 90 mm inside / 110 mm outside / 3" male thread.

 

Note

Install connections professionally according to their design. Use suitable PVC adhesive for bonded joints and observe the prescribed curing time. Seal threaded connections with a sealant suitable for PVC and do not overtighten. Ensure connection surfaces and pipe ends are clean, dry, and free of burrs. Before commissioning, check all connections for leaks and observe the permitted pressure rating and intended application area.



Note

For a permanently leak-proof connection, the glue side should be processed using a suitable PVC adhesive. The female thread is connected to a matching threaded connection.
