Phosphate is an important nutrient for all organisms in small amounts. However, concentrations as low as 0.035 mg/L lead to algae growth. To prevent algae blooms, the phosphates dissolved in the water must be bound.
Turbo PhosphateBinder was developed for the rapid reduction of extremely high nutrient concentrations. It reduces algae-promoting phosphates in pond water to a healthy level and thus effectively prevents algae infestation. 1 kg binds 24 g of phosphate – extra fast!

Turbo PhosphateBinder works on the basis of an ion exchanger that prevents the release of phosphates back into the water. Thanks to the ready-to-use mesh bag, application is extremely easy.

Turbo PhosphateBinder is free of toxic aluminum salts, pH-neutral, and does not cloud the water. Ideal for sturgeon stocks. 

Our application and dosage recommendation

Place the ready-to-use mesh bag in the pond, stream, or filter. The baskets in the TITAN filters from Söll are ideal for this. Turbo PhosphateBinder can be used all year round.

Depending on the phosphate load of the water, the binding capacity is exhausted after 1 to 4 weeks. Turbo PhosphateBinder should then be replaced.
