Based on the proven CarbonAdd active system, we have developed Premium KoiStabil specifically for koi, the "kings of garden ponds." Premium KoiStabil delivers on its name: a stable pond climate for koi and other demanding pond fish through a permanently species-appropriate pH value and stable carbonate hardness (KH). The product neutralizes ammonia and toxic heavy metals in the shortest possible time.

pH values above 8.5 and significant pH fluctuations cause stress for animals and plants. Premium KoiStabil corrects excessively high and low pH values in no time. The product increases the actual carbonate hardness and sets the pH value at approximately 7.8. pH fluctuations are reduced.

Premium KoiStabil creates optimal living conditions for flora and fauna in the water and increases its biological self-purifying capacity. Premium KoiStabil also supports the growth and reproduction of algae-eating fish food organisms and creates optimal conditions for pollutant-degrading microorganisms.

Our Application and Dosage Recommendation

Sprinkle 100 g of Premium KoiStabil evenly over the pond surface per 1,000 liters of pond water. Never dissolve or mix beforehand! Filter systems can remain in operation when adding the product. We recommend repeating the dosage three times a year or as needed (KH less than 5 °dH). Premium KoiStabil cannot be overdosed.

Special Notes

a) Limitations of effectiveness

If there is a permanent source of acid or alkali in the pond, Premium KoiStabil will be consumed faster because it has to constantly perform neutralization work. Once Premium KoiStabil is completely consumed, the pH value is no longer stable. Certain types of concrete or cement, sometimes used in pond construction, can release alkali into the pond water over a long period, causing the pH value to rise sharply.

When changing water, previously used Premium KoiStabil may be partially or completely removed from the pond with the water and thus can no longer be effective. A new dosage is then recommended.

b) Interaction with other products

We recommend using Premium KoiStabil one day before applying algae control products (e.g., Algosol, Algosol forte, Premium Thread Algae Destroyer). The remaining products in the Söll pond care program can be used at any time along with Premium KoiStabil.

If prolonged cloudiness or brown discoloration of the water occurs after using Premium KoiStabil, this is likely due to the previous use of peat, humic substances, or other pond treatment agents. The resulting cloudiness or discoloration can in most cases be eliminated by using SauerstoffAktiv.
